WHRO is member-supported public media.

Many members choose the simple and convenient option of becoming a Sustaining Member by automatically giving a set amount each month! Sustaining Members can use a credit card or EFT from any bank account. Through their faithful and reliable support, Sustaining Members provide a predictable source of funding that allows WHRO to bring you the highest quality radio and television programming, without commercial interruption.

We need you! Individual contributions make up more than 30% of WHRO’s annual budget! As part of the rich network of arts and cultural organizations throughout eastern Virginia, WHRO provides informative and enriching alternatives to mainstream radio and television entertainment.
