Focus Funds

Members of WHRO provide essential support that makes a difference in the lives of millions of residents in Eastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. Now more than ever, public media is an important part of the media landscape, bringing a non-profit, non-commercial, service-oriented approach to improving our community. In the wake of the elimination of federal funding, the partnership of our members has become more critical than ever to sustaining this important work. Through Focus Funds, individuals, families, and foundations can invest directly in WHRO’s mission by supporting specific programs and services aligned with their personal passions and interests. Gifts to Focus Funds bolster WHRO’s efforts to enrich the lives of those in our region.

Through Focus Fund donations, supporters can advance their passions and make a lasting impact, reaching not only WHRO’s nearly 25,000 members but also the millions who benefit from free programs and services available to everyone.
