Edenton, North Carolina is a small coastal town with a population of around 4500- 58% African American and 42% White. Race relations have been strained, in no small part due to a Confederate Statue that since 1961 stood in the heart of the downtown shopping district. In 2021, concerned citizens started protesting to have the statue removed and last month, it came down. On this edition of Another View, the story of racial conciliation in Edenton.
