Crizti Walsh
Host and Producer, All Things Considered and Retro UndergroundCrizti Walsh hosts and produces All Things Considered on WHRV, following four years as the station’s local host of Morning Edition. Before joining public media, she spent sixteen years in commercial radio, including longtime on-air roles at WROX and WNOB in Hampton Roads.
Crizti is also the creator, host, and producer of Retro Underground, WHRV’s weekly dive into the wonderfully weird corners of alternative music from the 1970s through the 1990s, and the stories and connections hiding behind the records.
A native of Virginia’s Northern Neck, Crizti has called Norfolk home since 1988. Her curiosity extends well beyond the studio — particularly to history, genealogy, art, film, and the places where music and memory intersect. She is currently researching and writing about her family history.
