  • Ms. Martha shares a story titled "Perfect Blue," written and illustrated by Adilynn Rudolph from Williamsburg Montessori School.
  • Since 1995, WHRO has invited students to pull out their pens and colored pencils and get creative! The PBS KIDS Writers Contest has ended and our judges have chosen the winners. Join us on May 10 to watch our winners read their stories!
  • Teams of local students gathered recently to compete in the Great Computer Challenge (GCC), an opportunity for students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade to demonstrate their knowledge of various computer applications and programming skills.
  • Ms. Martha shares a story titled, "Snakes Save the Day," written and illustrated by Elizabeth Dabney House. She attends Hampton Roads Academy.
  • The competition was fierce as students from middle schools across the region battled to become this years WHRO Spelling Bee champion and advance to represent the region in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
