Norfolk's music and food festival brings the sights, smells and sounds of Latino culture

The 25th Annual Latino Music & Food Festival returns to Town Point Park Saturday.

The 25th Annual Norfolk Latino Music & Food Festival includes merchants, family-friendly activities and great food representing the diversity of Latino culture.

The 25th Annual Norfolk Latino Music & Food Festival will take place on Saturday at Town Point Park, celebrating the vibrant Latino community of the Hampton Roads area.

From 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., the festival features shopping, live music performances and eclectic spreads of Latino cuisine, including Puerto Rican lechon, Mexican carne asada and Cuban Miami fusion dishes.

This year’s musical lineup is headlined by Dominican American Freily eL F’ and will also feature Grupo Ritmo Son, Kadencia and DJ Nava. Additional attractions include dance lessons, mini-soccer pitches, board games and authentic arts and crafts. Attendees can browse vendors such as Badillos Latin Toys, La Palmita Souvenirs, NuLand Hot Stuff, The Baby Alpaca and others.
