Digital Citizenship Week: We Have Your Classroom Resources

Digital Citizenship Week is October 20-24.

Explore a collection of quick, high-quality lessons and activities from eMediaVA and trusted partners that make teaching digital citizenship easy to fit into the school day.

"Helping our students become smart, kind, and responsible digital citizens is one of the most important things we do," says Sandra Wilfong of Chesapeake Public Schools. "With Digital Citizenship Week right around the corner, it’s a perfect opportunity to bring these crucial conversations to the forefront of our classrooms."

In WHRO Public Media's lastest eMediaVa blog post, Wilfong identifies classroom resources that will help you foster positive, healthy relationships between your students and technology.

Highlighted Resources:

  • Be Internet Awesome (grades 2-6)
Interactive games and lessons teach key digital citizenship skills.
  • Cosmic Quest (grades 6-8)
Students explore digital citizenship concepts through space-themed missions.
  • Ruff Ruffman: Humble Media Genius (grades K-5)
