Out of the Box Album of the Week--Fox and the Bear--Feels Like Home

Fox and the Bear is an indie-folk duo from Hampton Roads who have just released their second album, “Feels Like Home.” It’s a deeply personal collection of songs, some of which have been years in the making.

It’s been six years since their debut and the new album is a welcome return of the sibling harmonies of Jamie and Gina Anderson. One of the main differences from their first album is the percussion work of Gordon Hughes who has become an integral part of their arrangements.

Fox and the Bear says, "The album reflects on the patterns we encounter throughout life — the ones that shape us, challenge us, and, in their own way, start to feel like home. Those feelings can be positive or negative but they are all part of our experiences."

Fox and the Bear will be celebrating “Feels Like Home” with a special album release show on September 20th at The Annex in Norfolk, featuring support from Logan Vath and Tanya Gallagher. Like the album it’ll be an intimate night of storytelling and song. Tickets are available now at lavapresents.com
