On this week’s Acoustic Highway, we continue our month-long Pride celebration with a set from Brandy Clark( who recently was interviewed on the Highway while in town for the Virginia Arts Festival), Brandi Carlile, KD Lang, and Martin Swinger. We’ll also have music from local and regional artists Logan Vath, Mercy Creek, and Noah Paley, as well as Richmond based legend Gerry Laverty. And, with Cyndi Lauper announcing her “Final Tour” we’ll have music from Steve Forbert, who like Lauper, had his career launched in the early 1980s and was featured in her “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” video. It’s a wide range of great artists, on the highway. Sunday night at 9 on WHRV.
