2027 Next Gen Collective Board Application

The WHRO Next Gen Collective is a dynamic group of young professionals, ages 21–40, committed to deepening WHRO’s connection with the community. Through storytelling, outreach, and innovative programming, Next Gen Collective members help bridge WHRO’s national and local content with meaningful, real-world impact.

Our members are emerging leaders in finance, communications, education, the arts, nonprofit leadership, and government, who are all dedicated to giving back to public media and shaping its future.

Application Timeline (2027 Term)

• October 1, 2026 – Applications open
• November 28, 2026 – Applications due
• Mid-December – Applicants notified of status; new members invited to meet-and-greet
• January 2027 – New member orientation and kickoff meetup

We request that members are able to give a three-year commitment.
