Yiqing is WHRO News' health reporter. Before joining WHRO, she was a science reporter at The Cancer Letter, a weekly publication in Washington, D.C., focused on oncology. Ashley White is WHRO’s Education reporter focusing on K-12 and higher education in Hampton Roads. She joined WHRO in 2026 and previously covered education, crime, courts and cops while reporting in Lafayette, Louisiana, and Tallahassee, Florida. She grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and is a University of Central Florida alumna. When not at work can be found reading with her cats or exploring somewhere new.

Cash was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He spoke to Fresh Air in 1997 about his career, from touring with Elvis to singing at prisons. He died in 2003.
