Candidates for the 69th and 71st House of Delegates seats participated in a livestreamed forum hosted by WHRO and Williamsburg Watch.

WHRO and media partners Williamsburg Watch held a candidate forum for Peninsula and Historic Triangle area candidates for the House of Delegates at the Williamsburg Regional Library on Oct. 15, 2025.

Participating candidates include House District 69 Independent candidate Valeir Beverley and House District 71 Republican candidate Del. Amanda Batten and Democratic candidate Jessica Anderson.

House District 69 Republican candidate Del. Chad Green and Democratic candidate Mark Downey had other commitments and could not attend.

House District 69 includes parts of York, James City and Gloucester counties and part of Newport News. House District 71 includes the city of Williamsburg and parts of James City and New Kent counties.
