Tune in to The Acoustic Highway this week to hear artists captured live in performance. Many of the artists were recorded in the WHRO studios. We'll hear from Charlottesville artist Ben Eppard, local musicians Mike Glass and Dave Crumpler, Skip Friel, Mike Proffitt and Dana Silvercloud, and Jim Masters. Also, Richmond based Pamela McCarthy, as well as Dave Mathews with the trio, I'm With Her. And music from Dave Mallet and his wonderful album "Parallel Lives" which features the legendary musician in performance at a venue in New Hampshire in April 1997. Mallet made two appearances on The Acoustic Highway and in his last visit to the area, performed a concert in the WHRO Teleconference Center. In 2014, the University of Maine gave Mallett an honorary doctorate in recognition of his contribution to the state’s cultural heritage and he was named one of the most memorable Mainers of the 20th century. You can hear Dave Mallet and other talented artists "Live" on the Highway. Sunday night at 9 on WHRV
