WHRO Education's Children’s Services Outreach Specialist Tiana Skinner enjoyed visiting the EcoFest at Russell Memorial Library in Chesapeake over the weekend.
She hosted a WHRO PBS KIDS resource table featuring activity sheets, PBS KIDS educational resources, and an interactive Eco Hero Challenge.
For the challenge, participants selected a scenario card and decided whether the action was “Planet Safe” or “Not Safe,” creating a simple and fun way to talk about environmentally friendly choices and everyday actions that can help protect the planet.
Thank you to Chesapeake Public Library for including us!
