This week hear tracks from Greensky Bluegrass, The Travelin McCourys, Dolly Parton, Blue Highway, Reno and Smiley, The Grascals,and plenty of others. Ronnie and Rob McCoury are the sons of Bluegrass royalty. Their father, Del McCoury, has been a mainstay in the genre for over six decades and is still performing. The Travelin McCourys is a side gig for them as they still perform with the Del McCoury Band. Fiddle Player Jason Carter who also has worked with Del McCoury was a member of the band for a time. They won the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album for their self-titled release. And with the fourth of July only hours away, we'll have a great set from the new Kody Norris show album entitled "Spirit of America." Tune in for a two hour walk through wonderful Americana Music.
