Prolific singer-songwriter Tret Fure is the next featured artist on WHRO's Tiny Desk Concert Series. Fure's career has spanned over 50 years after she first arrived in LA in the early 70s. She toured with Spencer Davis and opened for classic groups like Yes, Poco, and The J Geils Band. In the 80s, she was at the forefront of the burgeoning women’s music genre. She lives with her wife Lauren in Hampton and continues to travel and perform nationwide. She has been a frequent visitor to WHRO and has appeared at The Out of the Box Sandler Concert Series, and on The Acoustic Highway, Writer’s Block, and Hunter at Sunrise.
