March is National Craft Month. If you're looking for fun projects to work on with the kids in your life, check out our collection below. Kids will create crafts from some of their favorite PBS Kids programs.

These craft ideas are perfect for children in grades K-5.

Wild Kratts

Build a worm hotel
Start observing nature with Wild Kratts and this easy craft, giving earthworms a temporary “hotel” in a dirt-filled container.

Create egg carton turtles
Instead of throwing away empty egg cartons, upcycle them with this Wild Kratts inspired activity.

Craft a Color Changing Chameleon
Turn a couple of paper plates and some paint into a great visualization of how chameleons change colors to match their settings.

Nature Cat

Make a bird feeder
Build a bird feeder and record what kinds of birds and other animals come to visit.

Magnetic Fishing
Go fishing with magnets to see what sticks! In this simple science activity, explore the science of magnets with Nature Cat.

Paint with Nature
Get outside and have fun with Nature Cat by using natural objects (leaves, flowers, or anything else!) as brushes or stamps to paint creative art projects.

Sesame Street

Watercolor Butterflies
It's crafting time with your students! Teach your students about butterflies while they make their own watercolor butterflies.

Caterpillar Shoes
Learn all about caterpillars with this kooky craft.

Rhyme Time Magnets
