Long-time local performer Ron Fetner is the featured artist on this Sunday's WHRO Tiny Desk Concert. Fetner has recorded seven albums including "Down a Gravel Road" which was released in 2023. Fetner was a Kerrville NewFolk Winner, named a Mid Atlantic Songwriter Contest Gold title, and a Chris Austin Song Contest finalist at Doc Watson’s Merlefest. He has had performances at venues like Nashville’s famed Bluebird Café, Atlanta’s Eddies Attic, DC’s Bayou and has played at festivals like South Florida, Tucson, Gamble Rogers and Falcon Ridge. He was the first ever in-studio performance on WHRV's Acoustic Highway and has been a regular on the WHRV traditional Sunday before Christmas program.
