New PBS Kids Program 'Phoebe & Jay' Premieres Today

PBS Kids has a new show that children will love. This new animated series for kids ages 3-5 is designed to support early literacy skills for preschoolers. The program follows the adventures of 6-year-old fraternal twins Phoebe and Jay Yarber, who live with their family in the fantastical Tobsy Towers.

As they explore their world, the twins use various kinds of texts kids see in their everyday lives − from signs and posters to labels and movie tickets − to help them understand, navigate, and participate in the world around them.

You can watch Phoebe & Jay on WHRO TV on Feb. 2 at 9:30 a.m., or on WHRO Kids at 9:30 a.m. or 2 p.m.
