WHRV Tiny Desk Concert Series debuts Sunday Night with Cari Lacey

This Sunday night, the WHRO Tiny Desk Concert series debuts with Norfolk resident Cari Lacey. This talented singer-songwriter originally hails from the Central Valley of California and cites legendary country artists like Buck Owens and Merle Haggard as influences. Since landing in Virginia, she's made quite a name for herself in the Hampton Roads and Richmond music scene(s). She recently competed in season 23 of American Idol where she showcased her talent in Hollywood. On the WHRO Tiny Desk concert, she talks inspiration for her music, her approach to the music industry, and performs both original and cover tunes.
