The Hampton Education Foundation (HEF) has announced the return of its signature event, H.E.F. Fest, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at The Vanguard Brewpub & Distillery in Downtown Hampton.
This year marks the fourth annual H.E.F. Fest, an exciting evening celebrating the educators, students, and community members who make Hampton City Schools (HCS) shine. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with live performances from the H.E.F. Fest All-Star Band kicking off at 7:30 p.m. — featuring local celebrity musicians and alumni from Hampton, Bethel, Phoebus, and Kecoughtan High Schools, as well as city and school leaders.
“H.E.F. Fest isn’t just a night of live music — it’s a celebration of education and the community that supports it,” said Nancy Beach, Executive Director of the Hampton Education Foundation. “This event captures the heart of our mission: bringing together Hampton’s residents, businesses, and educators to invest in the success of our students and schools.”
A Night to Celebrate Educators and Empower Students
H.E.F. Fest is the Foundation’s primary annual fundraiser, supporting two cornerstone programs, the Teacher Innovation Grant Program, which invests more than $40,000 each year to fund creative, hands-on learning experiences in classrooms; and the Student Scholarship and Impact Fund, which provides $7,000 annually to help Hampton City Schools graduates pursue higher education and career training, as well as funding during the school year that can help make a difference in student experiences. Funds raised at H.E.F. Fest through tickets and sponsorships, which exceeded $50,000 last year, help ensure teachers have the resources they need to innovate, and students have the opportunities they deserve.
