Tune in for some late-night Bluegrass when The Best of Pickin features music from the Lonesome River Band. Sammy Shelor formed the group in 1982 and despite many personnel changes, the band continues to perform and release new material (Shelor is the only original member to remain). We'll also hear from Audie Blaylock and his band Redline, Del McCoury, Tony Rice, Molly Tuttle teaming with old Crow Medicine Show and Blue Highway's Shawn Lane teaming with Richard Bennett, who performed with the legendary JD Crowe and the New South. And new music from Alison Krauss and Union Station, Watchhouse, and The Kody Norris Show. It's been a hectic week- so relax with The Best of Pickin. Friday night 10-12 on 89.5
