Please join us this Saturday, March 8, at 1 p.m. as we launch the second half of the Metropolitan Opera’s broadcast season with a live performance of “La Bohème,” Puccini’s timeless opera about the joys and sorrows of young love and the Bohemian life in Paris.

Tenor Joseph Calleja and soprano Kristina Mkhitaryan star as the poet Rodolfo and the seamstress Mimì, whose love story unfolds in a cold, moonlit garret in the French capital. They are joined by a superb ensemble cast, including soprano Brittany Renee and baritone Luca Micheletti as the passionate lovers Musetta and Marcello, along with Nicolas Testé, Gihoon Kim, and Donald Maxwell.

Maestro Alexander Soddy conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Chorus in this unforgettable portrait of youthful romance.

Puccini’s “La Bohème” will be heard live on WHRO-FM 90.3 this Saturday at 1 p.m. And remember, you can also stream it online through our Media Player or on your smart device.
