WHRO Public Media Honors Young Storytellers

Young Storytellers

Since 1995, WHRO has invited students to pull out their pens and colored pencils and get creative! The PBS KIDS Writers Contest has ended and our judges have chosen the winners. Join us on May 10 to see who won in each grade level!

Each year, winners of the writing contest and their families are invited to our studio for the annual Young Storytellers Awards Ceremony to celebrate. The winners are honored at the special reception and recorded in the WHRO television studio reading their winning entry.

Stream the ceremony live on May 10 at 6 p.m.
