The Best of Pickin' begins a “Bands You Need to Know” weekly segment with a look at the Irish Bluegrass band “JigJam.” This I-Grass quartet combines both traditional Irish and Americana music for a sound that will help refine the bluegrass genre. Jigjam debuted at the Grand Ole Opry in March 2023 and was joined by country music powerhouses Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks, and Steve Earle in performance and they just finished a gig at the annual Merlefest. Their debut LP”Oh Boy” was released in 2014 and they now have five albums out including their latest release Across The Pond.
