On this week's Acoustic Highway celebrates Black History Month by looking at some of the outstanding African American Artists of the genre. We’ll hear from Eric Bibb, The Carolina Chocolate Drops, and Tracy Chapman. Chapman shot to fame with her debut self-titled release in 1987. The album would go to receive six Grammy nominations and be certified 6x platinum behind its chart-topping single “ Fast Car.” We’ll also hear a set from local and regional artists Narissa Bond and The MSG Acoustic Blues Trio. Tune in for the incredible artistry of these musicians- on the highway.
