The Best of Pickin' on WHRV debuts this Friday night with a look at newer artists who are reshaping the genre of Bluegrass Music. We’ll hear from some of the early artists who pushed the boundaries of Bluegrass in the 1970s along with current bands that continue to redefine the music. We’ll hear from Sam Bush, Greensky Bluegrass, The Infamous Stringdusters, Chatham County Line, and plenty of others, including Mipso, the North Carolina-based quartet that will be appearing at the Virginia Arts Festival in May.
