Pickin' on WHRV this week has two new releases to feature. The Lonesome River Band recently released two outstanding cds- one a tribute to the famed Easter Brothers of North Carolina. The cd “Singing Up There” pays tribute to the gospel singing trio from Mount Airy. Their most recent album is “Heyday” and showcases new band members Adam Miller and Kameron Keller. While the members of The Lonesome River Band have continuously changed over their decades of performing, their enthusiasm for producing classic bluegrass remains the same.
