This week we enjoy a new drama starring Nicola Walker and Sean Bean; many of you will recognize Nicola from Last Tango in Halifax and as DCI Cassie Stuart in the series Unforgotten. Sean Bean has starred in many BBC productions and, here in the States, is most recognized as Ned Stark from Game of Thrones. This series is character-centered and expertly portrayed by these two talented actors.
In addition, we have an early release from American Experience. Casa Susanna tells the true story of a 1950s-era haven for transgender women and cross-dressing men when doing so was illegal in the US. I hope you enjoy these series and more this month on Passport.

Now on to the shows
Marriage
Starring Sean Bean and Nicola Walker as a couple married for 27 years, this contemporary drama takes a sometimes funny, sometimes moving, always revealing look at the need for togetherness and the joy of love in a complex world. Binge now.
American Experience: Casa Susanna
In the 1950s and '60s, an underground network of transgender women and cross-dressing men found refuge at a house in the Catskills region of New York. Known as Casa Susanna, the house provided a safe place to express their true selves. Watch now.
The Wagner Method from Walter Presents
If you are a fan of Professor T, you will enjoy this series. Recently transferred to Strasbourg, police captain Ceasar Wagner tries to adjust to his new team and an uninhibited medical examiner. The catch? His mother is the major, so earning trust takes a lot of work. The series is rated Mature, so viewer discretion is advised from Walter Presents, in French with English subtitles. Binge now.
Fanny: The Right to Rock
Co-founded by Filipino American teenagers, Fanny is the first all-women band to release an album with a major record label (Warner/Reprise, 1970). Revered by David Bowie, meet the most groundbreaking rock group you've never heard of...yet. Watch now.
Mark Your Calendar
Ridley
Retired Detective Alex Ridley is lured back into service as a consultant detective when his former protegee, Carol Farman, needs help cracking a complex murder case.
This series is inspired by the real-life phenomenon of the past several years, as forced local cuts in UK police divisions have seen retired detectives on pension return to work as "consultants" to assist understaffed and overwhelmed forces. Premieres Sunday, June 18. Enjoy the preview.
