EVENTS CALENDAR

Looking for something fun and unusual to do on a wintery Sunday afternoon? Watch this space and listen to WHRO 90.3FM and WHRV 89.5FM for news of a special event: A Strolling Supper Party...Celebrating Hampton Roads Magazine's Platinum Plates
Supper isn’t a word that’s used much these days – usually when people refer to the evening meal, they use the word “dinner,” but that implies something a little more formal than what we’ve got in mind. We’re talking about offering the chance to sample dishes from some of Hampton Roads’ best restaurants, while listening to some great entertainment from area performers!
We’re still firming up details, but what we can tell you now is that it all takes place on Sunday, February 28th at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott, starting at 4pm. Best of all (from our standpoint) is that proceeds benefit WHRO. It’s the closest we’ve ever come to having our cake and eating it too – so c’mon, plan to join us!
Tickets are only $50 per person and include samples from the some of Hampton Road's best restaurant, a food-themed silent auction and local entertainment.
