Planned Giving

The Legacy Society

Over the years, many thoughtful members have decided that securing WHRO's future is so important that they have included the station in their estate plans. Gifts, such as bequests, trusts, life insurance and other deferred contributions, empower WHRO to continue its heritage of providing outstanding programming and educational services for generations to come.

We urge you to consider such an important and long-lasting gift. It will truly be one of the best possible investments you can make in the future of our community.

Many donors have already included WHRO in their estate plans. In recognition of this wonderful group and their vision and leadership, WHRO established The Legacy Society. Anyone who names WHRO as beneficiary of their will, living trust, life insurance, retirement plan, charitable annuity, charitable lead trust, charitable remainder trust, or other estate plan is eligible to become a member of The Legacy Society.
