SAVING FACE

When it comes to the face, few body parts have as much influence over a person's identity and interaction with the world.  So what do we do when a face is damaged from injury, sickness, or birth?  What medical options are available and when should those options be pursued?  Today on House Calls, we speak with guests Terry Healey, a cancer survivor who endured over thirty facial reconstructive surgeries, Dr. Stephen Baker, Assistant Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital, and Dr. Richard Rosenblum, plastic surgeon with Operation Smile, about the long journey toward saving a face.
