WHRV RETURNS THE JEFFERSON HOUR TO ITS TUESDAY SCHEDULE
Counterspin and Left, Right and Center return to Thursdays

Norfolk:    Public Radio Station WHRV 89.5FM announced today that on Tuesday and Thursday, October 17th and 19th, it will return three popular programs to its daytime schedule. The Jefferson Hour, featuring humanities scholar Clay Jenkinson appearing as Thomas Jefferson in conversation about timely topics, will be heard every Tuesday at 1:00pm.  Counterspin and Left, Right and Center will occupy the 1:00 hour on Thursdays.

“We wanted to refresh the schedule by introducing new programs and new voices,” said Barbara Hamm, Chief Communications Officer.  “Hampton Roads let us know that they love these three programs, and wanted them restored to the daytime schedule.  We want Hampton Roads to know that we heard them – and starting next week, listeners will hear these favorites again.”

Day to Day, which has attracted its own following, will continue to be heard in the 1:00 timeslot on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
