NORFOLK:  Nine members of the Hampton Roads community have been elected to the governing Board of Directors of WHRO.  They are:

Ronnie Cohen, Professor of Business Law, Christopher Newport University
Ellie Gordon, Community/Civic Leader
John Overton, Vice President, Capital Group
Rik Rikkola, Executive Director, Executive Partners
Leonard Sledge, Director, Economic Development, College of William & Mary
Guy Tower, Managing Director, North End Public Affairs

The other members of WHRO's governing Board of Directors are Chairman Barry Pollara; WHRO President and CEO Bert Schmidt; Kirkland Kelley, Nancy Branch, Randy Webb, Reed Atkins, David Brashear, Anne Conner, Kathryn Copeland, Evan Curbeam, John Field, Philip Hatchett, Ashby Kilgore, Ernie Lendman, James Merrill, Charles W. Moorman, Tom Mountjoy, Conway Sheild, David Stuckwisch, Keith Sutton, Michael Wendel, Elizabeth Young and Jeanne Zeidler.

The Board continues to be a diverse group of individuals who represent WHRO’s ownership by eighteen public school systems throughout Hampton Roads.
