Mobile Device Application Developer
Reports to: Project Manager
WHRO is seeking an iPhone/Android Mobile App Developer who will be responsible for creating high-quality educational games, applications and prototypes for iPhone/iPod Touch and Android mobile devices, implementation of the entire system development lifecycle from concept creation to product delivery.
Required skills:
- 3+ years of experience developing SmartPhone applications
- iPhone Objective C, Cocoa and Cocoa Touch development experience with at least 1 year of iPhone experience and at least 2 significant applications in the Apple iPhone App Store
- Fluent in C/C++/Java programming
- Experience with Xcode and iPhone SDK
- Knowledge of Web service technologies and services
- Knowledge of common Android framework-API
- Experience with Android SDK
Nice to have skills:
- OpenGL and 3d graphics experience
- A strong desire to create educational games
- J2ME, iPhone, RIM, WinCE, Symbian, and Android audio or video applications development experience is highly desired
- Embedded Brew development is a plus
- BS or MS degree is preferred in Computer Science
