WHRO Speakers’ Bureau
Is your organization or service club seeking interesting and lively speakers to talk to your members about innovative ideas in the world of arts, culture, education and media?
WHRO maintains an active Speakers’ Bureau of high-level staff members who are available to speak to groups on many related topics. All of us at WHRO are proud to serve the public by sharing our expertise and enthusiasm for responsible public broadcasting, award-winning productions, new technology, and commitment to the community.
Sample topics (by no means a complete list) include:
- DTV – what it is and how it will affect the home and the schoolhouse
- Digital FM – what’s on the horizon for public radio fans
- Public broadcasting’s ever-expanding role in education
- The Center for Regional Citizenship – a community outreach initiative
