Produced by the College of William and Mary's School Of Anthropology, In Our Own Words is a documentary on Virginia's eight state-recognized tribes.  The project is the result of a two-year oral history study.  The American Association for State and Local History recognized In Our Own Words with its 2003 Special Projects Award.
