Yorktown Victory Center Guided Tour

Let our Foundation guide lead your group on a two-hour curriculum-based, inquiry-oriented tour of Yorktown Victory Center. Students get involved with significant aspects of the impact of the American Revolution on the people of America and the development of the new nation at Yorktown Victory Center. During tours, students handle reproduction objects, think about history through provocative questions, talk with costumed interpreters, and experience living history and gallery exhibits. Tours address the History and Social Science SOL's listed. Guides will cover the standards appropriate for your grade-level. Please let us know if specific standards should be addressed.
