Take a journey from the Egyptian pyramids of the past to a Mars Base of the future. Learn how physical environment and technology influence buildings and their materials, including the current construction of the International Space Station. Explore basic building techniques from cave men to the pharaohs of Ancient Egypt and then put your engineering skills to work as you build bridges, pyramids, and arches. Travel back in time to the pyramids with the IMAX film Mysteries of Egypt. (Grades Pre-K – 2)
