Astronomy: Window to the Universe

Since the beginning of civilization, we have looked to the heavens and gazed in awe at the wonders of the universe. What is a star? A planet? A moon? Board our starship "Explorer" destined to reach the outer limits of space and find the answers to these questions and more! Examine different types of telescopes and discover why they are our windows to the universe. (Grades 3-5)

Students will discover the dangers and the power of electricity while observing and participating in experiments with our Van de Graaff generator and Jacob's Ladder. (Grades 3-9)

Mad Scientist

Form a hypothesis and then test your idea by creating and running your own experiment. Collect data through observations and use scientific reasoning to draw a conclusion. Explore the wild, and sometimes wacky, world of science. (Grades 3-5)
