Since the beginning of civilization, we have looked to the heavens and gazed in awe at the wonders of the universe. What is a star? A planet? A moon? Board our starship "Explorer" destined to reach the outer limits of space and find the answers to these questions and more! Examine different types of telescopes and discover why they are our windows to the universe. (Grades 3-5)

Laser Beams & Light Sabers

Bounce a laser beam off a mirror and see where it goes. Learn how lenses bend light beams so that we can see clearly. Find out how we learn about light through working with lasers, spectroscopes, and prisms. Explore properties of light like reflection, refraction, and diffraction. (Grades 3-5)
