Jamestown Settlement Guided Tour

Let our Foundation guide lead your group on a curriculum-based, inquiry-oriented tour of Jamestown Settlement. Students get involved with significant aspects of the English, Powhatan, and African cultures of the 17th-century colony at Jamestown Settlement. During tours, students handle reproduction objects, think about history through provocative questions, talk with costumed interpreters, and experience living history and gallery exhibits. This tour led by a trained educator is designed to help groups get the most out of limited time at either museum by highlighting exhibits in the galleries and living history areas.
