The Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest is open to children in Kindergarten through Fifth Grades. Winners in grades K-3 will compete nationally this year. (Fourth and Fifth are local only.) Each grade level will be judged separately. Children of employees of WHRO are not eligible.
