Rules & Guidelines
The 8th annual Shortie Awards: Film and News Festival's call for entries deadline is April 3, 2009. Enter as a group, a whole class or individually! No Entry Fee!
The grade categories are 2nd-5th, 6th-8th, 9th-12th and teacher made films. The entry categories are live action/narrative, animation and daily news program.

What is The Shortie Awards?
Established in 2001, The Shortie Awards: Student News and Film Festival recognizes original digital media productions created by student filmmakers, ages 7-18, and their teachers. The Shortie Awards focuses on nurturing imagination and choice making in students. | |
