Educational Technology Leadership Awards
The Educational Technology Leadership Award recognizes one individual in each region whose outstanding work demonstrates a shared vision with the school division for the effective use of technology to support teaching, learning, and school administration and management. It honors those whose leadership has had a significant impact on instruction. Each region is recognized, and this year, two of the awards given were to C.I.I. School Employees. VETAC Award
The Virginia Educational Technology Advisory Committee (VETAC), which advises the Virginia Board of Education on educational technology, also presented its 2007 VETAC Leadership Award to current chairman John Littlefield of Suffolk City Public Schools. The award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated strong leadership both statewide and in their participation as a member of VETAC.
