                                                                                               30-Year "Betavoltaic" Battery

 

     The betavoltaic battery has been engineered to power your next laptop with a continuous power battery that lasts for 30 years without a single recharge.  Thanks to work being funded by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory. The breakthrough betavoltaic power cells are constructed from semiconductors and use radioisotopes as the energy source. As the radioactive material decays it emits beta particles that transform into electric power capable of fueling an electrical device like a laptop for years. If all goes well plans are for these cells to reach store shelves in about 2 to 3 years, but we’re giving you a heads up!

 

 

        The Tiny Engine

 

     The Tiny Engine has the potential to replace all the existing internal combustion engines and jet engines.

With 40 times higher power to weight ratio, low parts count, low maintenance, high mechanical efficiency,

and low pollution, the Tiny Engine will benefit airplane, big ship, 18 wheeler, SUV, passenger car, even

down to carry on power generator applications. The Tiny Engine as a pump/compressor also exceeds

The Home Nuclear Reactor

 

     This micro-sized nuclear reactor is small enough to fit in the basement or a large shed and will be a slam-dunk

solution to the energy/climate crisis.

 

     Twenty foot long by six foot wide, the reactors produce 200kW of energy and run themselves: the entire thing

is manufactured with the fuel within, and when it runs out, there would just be a nuclear waste recovery service

that will just send a truck to pick it up.

 

     Unlike traditional nuclear reactors the new micro reactor uses no control rods to initiate the reaction. The new

revolutionary technology uses reservoirs of liquid lithium-6, an isotope that is effective at absorbing neutrons.

The Lithium-6 reservoirs are connected to a vertical tube that fits into the reactor core. The whole process

is self sustaining and can last for up to 40 years, producing electricity for only 5 cents per kilowatt hour, about half the cost of grid energy.
